Santa Barbara, CA

Nestled on a perch in the hills above Santa Barbara, this classic stucco and terra cotta roof hacienda was to be a California inspired place of welcome and ease.  Layered with architecture from the barrel ceiling in the living room, to the terra cotta tiles at the fireplace and the expansive outdoor living spaces.  We were asked to appoint the home in comfort and warmth.  With southern exposure across the front facade, the collected rooms indoor and out in neutrals and occasional color drew in a warmth for living, communing, opening a California red and settling in for a while.
